We had what I thought was a fun family trip to Wyoming. One of the favorite activities was climbing on Independence Rock. It was good to be with our friends the Maddocks. We met Jim and Valoy while in college and their 5 boys were always so good to entertain our 3 boys whenever we visited them. Doug's baby goats and his horses were a hit with the grandkids. Four year old Makayla went right up to the horses to pet and ride them but was afraid of Deb's puppy here at home. Go figure. Some of our family would have liked doing something else for a family trip but were good sports about it.
One of J.R's least favorite things to do is call people on the phone (must be a family thing) so you can imagine how he feels about being the executive secretary, but he has gotten to know the people in the ward. Ogden Temple is closed starting next week for cleaning so we have some time off. We've picked out some carpet for the family room in the basement so hopefully it will be done by mid-August. Life is good even when it's not. Love ya all.

It is good to hear from you. Sounds like things are going like life does.
I just bugged Kim between putting and teeing off to tell him not to give up, because TIGER just went from -1 to -7 on the first nine today.
If he can do it so can Kim.:O) Kim thinks he is now a horrid golfer and didn't even want to golf a couple of weeks ago. He didn't go for about two weeks. Bring his clubs to Kenosha, even though Isaak begged him to. Thank goodness it didn't last too long.
Glad to hear you are all doing okay. Hope JR's back continues to improve.
Is your family room in the basement the last room you need to finish?
The phone thing, like you said, must be inherited. One of my past callings was VT coordinator. Like JR's calling, you can imagine how much I was on the phone.
