Dad wanted me to thank everyone for the visits and gifts on Father's Day. He enjoyed all of it. He has really been enjoying the Book of Mormon DVDs by that Wilcox guy that Kim and Liz gave him. He said that today he got so involved in them that he missed the first four innings of the Rockies game. Dad loves the Rockies so he must have been pretty involved...maybe even mediating with his eyes closed. :-)
I told him how much fun we are having with the blog and shared a few things with him. He got a good laugh out of them.
Today he recited this song which is sung by the J Bar Wranglers:
There's a gold mine in the sky far away.
And we'll find it you and I some sweet day.
There'll be clover just for you down the line.
Where the skies are always blue, pal of mine.
Take your time old mule I know you're growing lame.
In your pasture in the sky there'll be no pain.
And we'll sit up there and watch the world go by.
When we find that long lost gold mine in the sky.
Far away, far away
We'll will find that long lost gold mine some sweet day.
And we'll say hello to friends who said goodbye.
When we find that long lost gold mine in the sky.
Happy Trails to you....for now

I love how "HAPPY" dad is. He truly is the most lovable, socialite of "The Heritage Center". Thanks, Treena for sharing this with him and him with us.
