Happy Day

They just came in and removed the epidural from Branden's back and they will be coming in soon to pull out the chest tube. YEAH!!!!! Finally moving in the right direction, they say that 24 hours after pulling out the chest tube he can go home. As long as tomorrow's chest x-ray is clear. He is in good spirits and excited to be headed home in the next couple of days. I got to spend the day with the kids yesterday, I haven't spent any time with them sense the accident. It was good to get to be a Mom again. We went to build a bear and they each made a bear for their Dad (they hope he will give them to him when he gets home) so he will have something to snuggle while he's away. Then they laid in bed with him and watched Charlie and the Chocolate factory with him, it was a good day for all :) We are hoping that he doesn't have too much pain with that epidural being pulled but they are prepared to do something else for him if it is too bad. Anyway it appears to be all down hill from here. He will have about four months of pain and discomfort from the healing of all the broken bones, but he can handle that :) he's tough. We have benn taking pictures through out the whole thing and I will post some when I get a USB cable.
