So I realized too late that I missed Martin's baptism this morning. I was so into house work that I spaced it. (Yes, I have a very exciting life). Sorry Martin!
I am not willing to buy a crackberry, blackberry, blueberry or any berry. I am already addicted to enough electronic things! Maybe some of the rest of you feel the same. So I'm wondering if it's possible to add a few things to the blog like a calendar that would include birthdays, upcoming events, etc. One that everyone could add to.
I'm also wondering about adding something that shows the most recent comments so things don't get missed. I have tried to add that myself with a widget or wedgie or whatever it's called but I can't get it to work. So I'm wondering if some of you more experienced bloggers would know how to do that.
Deb, I don't know if that website where you got the current backdrop has these kind of things or not. Maybe it just has the backdrops, etc
Amy, I'm going to add you as an administrator. You know your way around a blog and if you have a minute and wouldn't mind and know how to do any of this, it would be so greatly appreciated. Or let me know and I'll try to do it.
If anyone else knows how to do this stuff or wants to give it a try let me know and I'll also make you an administrator too. I haven't made everyone one yet because I'm afraid we would be making changes on top of each other. Mostly I haven't because I'm afraid we would end up with a dead animal as the backdrop...

Okay...I can't get the recent comments to add either, but I'll keep messing with it.
I added a calendar to the bottom...so far I'm not sure how to make it so everyone can add their own stuff...but I'll tinker and in the meantime I'd be happy to add info to it.
Amy, the calendar looks great! You deserve the red,white and blue hat. Plus any other hat you want :-)
I think I have most everyone's b-day and I can add those. I may not have all the most recent additions to the family and people may have to help out by letting me know those. If you are willing to add things as people talk about them that would be great. That way both of us won't be trying to do it. I hope you can figure out the recent comments thingy. I think that would be good to have.

I got the recent comments widget to add my blog so I'm wondering if the reason it won't add to this one is because this is a private site. I'll check with my know-it-all blogger friends and get back with ya.
Oh, I see...so I need to go there too to add the b-days. I thought anyone who was an admin could just do it at the calendar. Are you OK if I use your log in? Or should I make my own?
Use mine so that it will take you to this calendar instead of having your create a new one.
