Mark Phillip Wendt, 20, loving husband, father, son and brother unexpectedly passed away due to injuries suffered in an automobile accident on Sept. 22, 2008.Mark was born July 1, 1988 in Fontana, Calif. Mark’s family moved to Tooele when he was 10. He developed a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed camping, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, shooting and 4-wheeling with his family and friends. Mark married his sweetheart and true love, Karrilyn Dickinson, on Jan. 20, 2007. He was a hard worker and provided for his family.
Mark is survived by his loving wife Karrilyn and his son Kaimen, parents David and Katherine Wendt, sisters Sara and Jena Wendt, aunt Linda and uncle Jim Thompson (Antioch, Calif). Grandparents Harold and Jean Robinson (Landers, Calif.) and many other loving relatives.
A viewing will be held at Tate Mortuary Thursday, Sept. 25, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 26, 2008 at the Cedarview LDS Chapel, 691 E. Cedarview, Tooele, at 2 p.m. with a viewing from 1-2 p.m.
Found out last night at the viewing that Karrilyn is pregnant with their second child. She's happy about it.

Thanks for posting the obituary. I have been looking in the Des News not sure if they lived here in SLC area.
It's wonderful that she has a little gift coming from heaven to remind her of him and touch her tender heart with heavenly peace adn love. I can see where it is bringing joy. It will bring her happiness and of course will bring peace to her; even though she will have times of loneliness and heartache. God bless her and he little family.
Well that's the interesting thing. It was only in the Tooele newspaper which comes out twice a week...Thursday evening being one of those times....so none of them saw it until last night.
Hi all, it's Deena the newcomer. I wanted to thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy and prayers. My brother, David, married Mark's mother and adopted her family of Mark and his 2 sisters. David was especially close to Mark. They did lots of things together and so even though we weren't really close with Mark we are still feeling the pain they are all in. It's nice to have family to support you in this difficult times. I feel your support so I can give mine to David and his family. Hmmm...sounds like that's what it is all about. Although I don't participate here Treena keeps me posted on most everything she sees. I enjoy hearing about all of you and your sweet families. Keep up the good work and thanks again.
As a group of us were waiting for an assignment at the temple, it was mentioned what a blessing it is to know what we do about life after death and a couple of examples were given. How awful it would be to not know and what a comfort we have during times of sorrow and in the hard days ahead. We love you Deena and the support you have given us through the years. You are family.
